What are the aims and objectives of the Programme?
The purpose of the Programme is to develop an innovative methodology for supporting women in rural areas to start and run their own businesses successfully.
Who can take part?
All Women in disadvantaged rural areas who are interested in self-employment.
What is involved?
We are involved with the delivery of pre enterprise training concentrating on ideas generation and Personal development of the participants. This is in the form of 10 training workshops covering elements including: Ideas generation, what is an entrepreneur? marketing, ICT in Business, How to set up a business, Assertiveness training, and others. Following the training the groups are encouraged to form their own support group in order to continue with the ongoing development of the business ideas.
