we are now the ambassadors in the developed world,
it started small but has now grown to challenge
financial exclusion around the world.
The Idea
Micro-finance is about lending very small amounts
of money to people with whom you have built up a
relationship over time or who are known in the community.
The money is generated through the community and
as such there is a social pressure to pay it back.
This money is being held in trust by the Micro-finance
institution and lent out on the basis that it will
flow from business to business as it is paid back.
